Symptoms
When attempting to copy an item, ShareGate Migrate displays the following message:
One or more alerts are configured to send text messages (SMS). These alerts are not supported on your destination server. They will be converted to notify via email.

Details
ShareGate's migration tool is attempting to copy user alerts and some of these alerts are configured to send out text (SMS) messages to their intended recipient instead of emails. However, the text message service (SMS) is not available in SharePoint 2007 or Microsoft 365. While these user alerts will be successfully copied, they will be set to notify the recipient by email instead.
Note: As of November 2021, ShareGate Migrate is no longer able to provide full support for SharePoint Server 2003 and 2007, which are past the end of their Microsoft support lifetime. For more information, see Contacting our technical support team.
