The Quick Actions menu has a new style of buttons.

Remove Anonymous Guest Links is no longer an option available from the Quick Actions menu.
-
Break/Restore Inheritance (an option for documents, list items, and folders) is available from the Quick Actions Panel.
- Removed Clear Version History, Check-In, and Discard Check-out for list items since these actions are not yet available for that object type and were displaying by mistake.
-
You will no longer see unaccessible Microsoft 365 site collections in the Explorer.
-
A new context menu that opens when you right-click a URL allows you to open them in your browser and copy them to your clipboard.
-
The filter button will no longer get disabled in a duplicate report even though the results have loaded.
-
The file name will be displayed when you export a Property Template using Bulk Edit Content instead of the name of the template.
-
Sometimes the confirmation window would not prompt when using Bulk Edit Content in automatic mode.
-
Some reports in the All Tasks section would not show their results anymore after updating to a new ShareGate Desktop Desktop version.
-
The column “Report storage location” on site collection reports would not show any information when selected.
- The Remove Permissions feature would sometimes fail to load all existing groups.
Migration
-
Opening item details in a migration report would cause the Back button to disappear.
-
Group Templates are supported when you are migrating to Microsoft 365 with both Insane and Normal mode.
-
Better error handling for copying permissions when you undergo an Import from File Share in Migration.
- You will no longer see an error for Comment count and Like count list columns when migrating a list from a Microsoft 365 source to a SharePoint On-Premises destination.
-
We improved how the error details are displayed in Migration.
-
You can now download the Microsoft Azure manifest package for a Microsoft 365 import using Insane Mode.
-
Folders with a name starting with a tilde (~) will have their first character replaced when migrating to SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft 365.
-
You can now copy an item for which the permissions at the destination are given indirectly, even if you are not the Site Collection Administrator.
-
Going forward, ShareGate Desktop Desktop does not migrate list workflows that are created with SharePoint Designer for SharePoint 2007 when they are no longer associated to the list.
- When using an incremental update to import a file towards a Microsoft 365 destination with Insane Mode, the file would be copied if the modified date in the document properties was different than the one in the file system.
-
Prevented a possible memory leak caused when a file version is corrupted at the source environment of a migration.
-
Group Mappings for SharePoint 2003 support Security Groups as well as SharePoint groups.
- Fixed an edge case that caused deadlock during a migration using Insane Mode to Microsoft 365.
-
When migrating to a SharePoint 2016 destination, navigation would sometimes be in a different order than it was at the source of the migration.
-
ShareGate Desktop now preserves the OneNote Notebook file type when migrating to a OneDrive.
General
-
Improved document property extraction by only executing on supported file types.
- An issue with Windows notifications would sometimes cause a crash when starting the ShareGate Desktop Desktop Application.
