Is there a limit on the data I can migrate?
Your ShareGate subscription offers unlimited data migration, so no charge per GB. However, each subscription is associated with only one of your customers.
Do you offer a consultant subscription?
We do not offer a consultant subscription. A subscription acquired under your company’s name can only be used within your organization.
Your ShareGate subscription works on a one-client-per-subscription model; therefore, you must purchase a new subscription for each one of your clients. Think about it as paying for the Support and Maintenance for each customer.
It's alright if you help them set up their environment, but ultimately, they must purchase a subscription directly from ShareGate or from you. In other words, it would go against our EULA to use an internal subscription for managing different client environments and would lead to the immediate suspension of your subscription.
Our product's main focus is to help IT admins move to the cloud, gain visibility, and keep control of their Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.

Do I have the right to use my subscription for SharePoint migrations in customer tenants?
If you own a ShareGate subscription, that subscription must exclusively be used for your company's internal projects. If you are working on clients' projects, each of them must own their license.
Do you offer NFR partner demo licenses we can use to learn your product and do demos with clients?
We do not offer NFR licenses for consultants; however, ShareGate provides a free 15-day trial, along with multiple resources available on our website and within our support documentation.
- Make sure to always register your deal with your local Distributor before a trial is requested.
- Your Distributor can provide you with a 15-day trial for each deal you will register.
- Your client will receive a ShareGate subscription trial shortly after, you can also request to be cc'd on the trial delivery email, which you can use to perform your demo.
- Your client will also be able to test out the migration tool and ShareGate Management before they commit to a purchase.
Why do I need to provide you with my client's details?
Because of our subscription model, which works as a one-client-per-subscription model. That is why we require each opportunity and quote to be associated with your end-user. We do not reach out to them, but are hoping they will become ShareGate Subscription customers once you transfer them the subscription. You will also have incumbent privilege on all renewals, and incremental revenue.
Do you have a Partner Program?
We do not have a partner program; however, we offer all the help and support you need to carry out your clients' projects.
You may also resell ShareGate subscriptions through our local distributors and receive a reseller discount for all new and renewal orders, free pre-sale support, white-glove renewal management and much more!
How do I become a reseller?
Before placing an order via a distributor, you must have an active account with them. If you do not already have one, you can email our main contact to get set up. All commissions and discounts must be dealt with solely by the distributor. ShareGate will not be involved or be a party to any business transaction between the consultant and the Distributor.
