ShareGate Blueprints is a revolutionary feature that allows you to attach an existing SharePoint site to a provisioning template. Once configured, every time your co-workers create a new team through the template, the created team will automatically have a SharePoint site that's identical to the blueprint site!
When creating or editing a provisioning template, you can choose to add the Structure only or Structure and Content of a SharePoint site as a blueprint.
Tip: When you make changes to your blueprint site, your updates are applied dynamically to any subsequent teams created through the template.

How does ShareGate Blueprints work?
We use ShareGate's powerful migration engine to copy the structure and content from the blueprint site and merge it into each team that's created through the template.
What's copied from the ShareGate blueprint site?
The following objects are copied from the blueprint site to the created team's SharePoint site:
Structure only
- The SharePoint site
- Lists and libraries
- Content types
- Site columns
Structure and content
- The SharePoint site
- Lists, libraries, and their content
- Content types
- Site columns
What happens if my ShareGate blueprint site is deleted?
If an active blueprint site is deleted:
- Teams created via the template after the site's deletion won't have a SharePoint site (until you add a new blueprint site).
- Teams previously created via the template are unaffected.
Note: Templates for which the blueprint site has been deleted are indicated in the Team templates tab of the Provisioning page. If you see that a configured blueprint site has been deleted, try to attach a new one as soon as possible.
